Un futuro sin utopías. Escrituras de la desolación en la narrativa del Cono Sur
Keywords:

This article analyzes three novels from the Southern Cone –Bajo este sol tremendo (2009) by Carlos Busqued, Mugre rosa (2020) by Fernanda Trías and Kentukis (2018) by Samanta Schweblin– as key texts to interpret our present burdened by uncertainty, precariousness, and fear. These fictions build a world in dissolution, where affections disappear and suffering is silenced under multiple layers of violence, a legacy of a dark political past that questions all hope for the future.
