El proyecto crítico-intelectual de la RCLL y su herencia mariateguiana en el proceso del sistema crítico-literario latinoamericano
Keywords:
José Carlos Mariátegui, literary criticism in Latin America, Antonio Cornejo Polar, Revista de Crítica Literaria Latinoamericana, intellectual networks, critical-intellectual systemAbstract
This article uses the notion of a system—from its reformulation made by some Latin American literary critics—to approach literary and cultural criticism enunciated from Latin America, as a process that reached a decisive moment in the mid-1970s, that is, with the foundation of an intellectual project such as the Revista de Crítica Literaria Latinoamericana, proposed by Antonio Cornejo Polar, Nelson Osorio and other literary critics departing from José Carlos Mariátegui’s ideas. This publication facilitated the formation of intellectual networks that enabled the rethinking of what literary criticism should be by virtue of the work of those critics and their links to the sociopolitical realities of their context (creation and reception). This article proposes, then, to make a revaluation of this project, since from its materiality it has contributed to the process of institutionalization of literary-cultural criticism in Latin America.
