La literatura peruana según Mariátegui. Una indagación epistemológica sobre el sétimo de los 7 ensayos

Abstract

I propose an analysis of the seventh essay by José Carlos Mariátegui (“The process of literature”, 1928) from the perspective of epistemological hermeneutics. I also consider the development of Mariátegui’s proposals by Antonio Cornejo Polar and the existence of five literary systems, as opposed to the three traditional ones recognized by Cornejo Polar.
