Pablo Guevara: reflexiones sobre su poética de la creación verbal

The article proposes, first of all, to explain the meaning of the theoretical references of the third part of the collection of poems Un iceberg llamado poesía (1998). In order to understand these nanotexts on the paradoxical condition of language, the deontologization of literature, and the critique of logocentric western rationality, they are placed in dialogue with the set of reflections that the poet Pablo Guevara Miraval (Lima, 1930-2006) has developed in a series of interviews and articles. Secondly, but complementary to the previous one, I comment the poem “Tarsos y metatarsos/carpos y metacarpos”, from the posthumous collection of poems “Tren bala” (2009). This act will allow us to gauge how those reflections on poetry, literature, and the interaction between the poet and society are figuratively deployed.
