La sal de la tierra: fragmentos andinos en la globalización

In this work, I analyze a series of discursive units or semiotic groups, such as written, visual or auditory texts and ritual practices, which make visible Andean elements that at a time in the past were inscribed in a social and cultural system. These units connect traditional Andean elements with canonical Western ele- ments and above all with elements of globalization. Methodologically, I review the classical theoretical references of anthropology, sociology, and literary analysis, as well as their limitations, in search of new perspectives that help us to describe what we call “sets”, and which de la Cadena calls “partial connections”, so we can show nuclei of knowledge and subjectivity that allow their subjects to be “recognized” (Bourdieu, Taylor), while they enrich the western receiver.
