Abstract

This work examines the relationship between Arguedas and Peruvian history as a fundamental aspect of his knowledge and thinking throughout his literary and anthropological work. From his translation of the Huarochirí manuscript to his familiarity with Guaman Poma and other chroniclers and documents, this article shows the importance of primary sources and the detailed handling of these by the author of All Bloods (Todas las sangres).
