Entre el pornô-chic y el pornô-trash, Cartas de un seductor de Hilda Hilst

Cartas de un seductor (1991) by Brazilian writer Hilda Hilst is part of the tradition of pornographic literature that goes back to the Marquis de Sade and a whole series of cursed texts created by great writers. However, the book also faces this tradition that, in its present, seems to be exhausted by the arrival of the Internet and its massive access files. The present article, in this way, proposes to read Hilst's book in a double movement, backwards, towards that tradition to which it supposedly belongs and towards its future, in a new situation that its texts help to build or face; under the hypothesis that in either case the text is docilely delivered to both paradigms but, read in one or the other direction, produces breaks, discrepancies and disorders.
