Abstract

Despite governmental, marketing, and mediatic attempt to make Amerindian culture disappear (by sub or over-exposition), native narratives are absolutely actives in contemporaneity. There is, in Brazil, a becoming (or re-becoming) native that works as a rip in the history of culture, a caesura capable of disturb the idea of national literature or art. The identity fixity of the country (pater) adjective is called into question in face of mater’s language and people resistant plurality.
