Entre el realismo y el vanguardismo en las Residencias
Keywords:
Neruda, Residence on Earth, Realism, Anarchism, Aavant-gardeAbstract
This essay argues that avantgardism and realism coexist in Neruda s work up to Residenda en la tierra, the point in which the avant-gardist influence reaches its apogee. That aesthetic project unites with anarchism, since vanguardism is the artistic expression of anarchist thought. Having been inclined toward anarchism since his youth, Neruda went through an avant-gardist phase—with realist features—but superseded it beginning with Residence on Earth.
