Interferencia interferida. La influencia de Huysmans en el baudelairianismo de José Juan Tablada

Abstract

In the following article, I describe and analyze how Tablada’s reading of Baudelaire’s work changes after he becomes familiar with the religious works of Huysmans. This reinterpretation likely had an impact on the way the Mexican writer concludes El florilegio, his first book. The objectives are to understand Tablada’s initial poetry in a different way and, in more general terms, to contribute to the study of the complex reception of French literature in Mexican modernism.
