Abstract

Framed in the little-studied futurist narrative and of science fiction in Peru, this research delves into the least referenced and most nostalgic of Jorge Eduardo Eielson's novels, Primera muerte de María (1988), through a kaleidoscopic gaze to the three dimensions in which the work is presented: the novel, the essay and the personal diary. Likewise, I propose to question the unfair exclusion of Jorge Eduardo Eielson as a narrator of his generation both in Peru and in Latin America.
