Fragmentos “extraños” de las escrituras de La Habana. Esquirlas de Ahmel Echevarría Peré
Keywords:
Ahmel Echevarría Peré, recent Cuban narrative, foreigners, reality, fictionAbstract
In this text I am interested in describing the way in which the configuration of Havana by the Cuban writer Ahmel Echevarría undermines the realism of spaces and in turn problematizes the generic statutes of reality/fiction and writings of the self. The description and subsequent understanding of each of these analytical dimensions put in contact with the notion of “foreignness” (García Canclini) have allowed me to argue that a set of recent writings produced in Cuba create new forms to belong and be in the world.
