Keywords:
Domínguez Camargo, Saint Ignatius of Loyola, Luis de Góngora, mixed annotationAbstract
The Neo-Granadine poet Hernando Domínguez Camargo published posthumously his long Saint Ignatius of Loyola, fundador de la Compañía de Jesús: Poema heroico in 1666. He is recognized as one of the most complex and least studied poets of the Spanish American Baroque. This article addresses some of the editorial problems of the text, given that the only reliable modern edition of the poem, published in 1960, does not clarify many issues related to punctuation and interpretation.
