Archivos arqueológicos y etnográficos en Los ovnis de oro de Ernesto Cardenal: imagen y utopía en los “poemas indios”
Keywords:

This article analyzes strategies of representation through the image in the indigenista poetry of Ernesto Cardenal. It proposes a link with the imagistic or vorticist conceptions by Ezra Pound. Likewise, I emphasize certain cinematic uses that lead to rethinking mythical or community and political aspects. These strategies oscillate between the displacement or supplantation of the indigenous visuality and the incorporation into planes of equality through the use of color, as happens in the ethnographic approach to the Kuna indian.
